Green Tomatoes , just like the ripe tomatoes, have  lot of nutrients. But never try to eat it in raw form in a salad, it has a kind of toxin, which might be poisonous. Green variety also has Vitamin C in abundance, just like the ripe ones, has lot of fibre, helps reduce the risk of heart disease and colon cancer. Betacarotene is present in Green Tomatoes too, like the red ones.
Palak, also known as Spinach, is low in calories, has calcium, iron, magnesium, vitamins and it also is a source of protein, fibre and copper. Palak has flavonoids, which helps keep you young.
Channa dhal, is high in fibre, helps to lower cholesterol, has a very low glycemic index, which is important to those with diabetes, and is a rich source of zinc, folate, calcium and protein.
Pearl Onions has antibiotic, antiseptic properties, is an immediate cure for fever, common cold and sore throat and  can improve digestive system.
