Corn prevents heart ailments, controlls diabetes, lowers hypertension and prevents birth defects. Corn also called maize, Jowar in hindi and cholam in tamil, is one of the most popular cereals of the world, and forms the staple food in many countries. The corn-kernels hold the maximum nutrients, and provide the necessary calories for a healthy , daily metabolism and ar also a rich source of many Vitamins and their  high fiber content prevent ailments like constipation and colon cancer. Corn also helps reduce Alzheimer's disease.
This is such an easy salsa, lot of cooking is not involved, and it is so tasty as a side. My daughter gave me clear instructions what to do and how to do, and I followed her instructions.


Ingredients
Frozen or fresh corn - 4 cups
Onions - 1, big, finely chopped
Red bell pepper - 1, finely chopped
Green chillies - 5-6 , finely chopped
Coriander leaves - handful, washed & chopped fine
Lemon juice - 2 tbsps
Salt to taste

Serves 6-8

In a steamer, microwave corn for 10 mts...and....

transfer to a bowl.


Now, add the chopped onions and green chillies


Now add the finely chopped red bell peppers


and now, salt and the lemon juice, followed by the coriander / cilantro leaves



Mix well and serve

* If you want a spicier salsa, add more green chillies
