This is a rare combination....combining the delicate paneer with the traditional raw bananas....and trust me..the result is awesome! The kababs just melt in your mouth, they do not drink oil, and are ideal for parties as starters.
This is my entry to Monsoon Mojo Season 2

Ingredients
Cooked and grated raw bananas - 1 1/2 cups
Home-made crumbled paneer - 1 cup
Green chillies - 3, chopped finely
Chilli powder - 1 tsp
Coriander powder - 1 tsp
Jeera powder - 1 tsp
Garam masala powder - 3/4 tsp
Corn flour - 2 tsps
Coriander, chopped - 1/2 cup
Jeera - 1 tsp
Salt to taste
Cooking oil as required to fry

Recipe Cuisine: Indian; Category: Starters
Prep time: 20-30 mts; Cooking time: 25 mts

Yields 22 Kababs

Crumbled paneer and grated raw banana

Add finely chopped green chillies, chilli, coriander and jeera powders, not forgetting salt

Add corn flour, garam masala and the fresh coriander leaves

A spoonful of Jeera too enters the scene

Whole mixture kneaded into a stiff dough

Shape into however you want, neatly arrange them in an airtight container, and refrigerate for 2-3 hours, to make them firm.

Dropped into hot oil. You must never disturb them for 3-4 minutes. Otherwise, they will stick to the ladle and disintegrate. By being in the hot oil, they become firm, and start coming up slowly. At this time, gently flip them over, and fry to golden colour

Serve with tomato ketchup and green chutney
