This gothsu is the inseparable combo for the White Dosas. Ofcourse, it goes with other tiffins also...like idlis, Ven pongal, dosas etc....but, it goes default with White dosas. And, here is an easy way to prepare it,within 5 minutes.

Ingredients
Onion - 1, chopped fine
Tomatoes - 2, chopped fine
Green chillies - 1, broken into two
Tamarind paste - 1/8 tsp
Sambar powder - 1/2
Chiili powder - 1/2 tsp
Jaggery/sugar - 1/2 tsp
salt to taste
Coriander leaves, cleaned and chopped
Rice flour - 1 tsp, diluted in water

To season
Cooking oil - 2 tbsps
Hing powder - 1/4 tsp
Mustard seeds - 1 tsp
Jeera - 1 tsp
Curry leaves

Recipe Cuisine: South Indian; Category: Side dish for tiffins
Prep time: 10 mts; Cooking time: 15 mts

Serves 2-3

All kept ready

In a pressure pan, take oil, season hing and mustard seeds with jeera

Then add all the chopped onions, tomatoes, curry leaves, green chillies etc

Add sambar powder, chilli powder, jaggery  and tamarind paste, along with salt to taste. If your tomatoes are tangy enough, tamarind paste can be avoided.

Now, add the coriander leaves too, which impart great flavour to the gothsu, and also the rice flour diluted with little bit of water. Cover the lid, and cook for 3 whistles. It will be done to perfect consistency.

Serve it hot with the soft, White Dosas.
