This is a multi purpose powder...Can be used to make rice as well as sevai...can mix it with curds to make a dip...
And we all know the health benefits of Coriander & Curry leaves!!!

Coriander /Cilantro leaves :
*Help to control Cancer cells.

*The detoxifying, disinfectant, antiseptic, anti fungal and anti oxidant properties are ideal for clearing skin disorders, such as Eczema.
*Lowers cholesterol levels
*Prevents stomach disorders, such as nausea, vomiting and diarrhea, aids in digestion
*Regulates blood pressure
*Heals Ulcers
*Improves Bone health
*Loaded with Minerals which are good for eye sight
*Manages and controls Diabetes

Curry Leaves:
*Good remedy for Diarrhea, and if constipated, is a good laxative too
*Cures Anemia
*Protects one's body from the adverse effects of Chemotherapy
*Cures skin infections
*Treats queasiness and dizziness
*Good for blood circulation
*Protects eyesight
*Protects Liver
*Good for hair
*Controls diabetes

Ingredients

Curry leaves - 1 cup, heaped, washed and cleaned
Coriander leaves - 1 cup, heaped, washed and cleaned
Broken urad dhal - 2 tsps
Ajwain/Carom seeds - 1 tsp
Pepper - 1/2 tsp
Jeera - 1 tsp
 Red chillies - 3
Salt to taste
Cooking oil - 1/2 tsp

Recipe cuisine: South Indian; Category: Preserve/podi
Prep time: 10 mts; Cooking time: 5-7 mts

Yields a cup of powder


Curry and Coriander leaves, washed, cleaned and drained


Both microwaved for 2-3 minutes, at short intervals, till moisture is gone and it's almost dy


like this


In a pan, add oil, add all the above mentioned ingredients and roast them to golden color


Perfectly done


Now add the microwaved leaves


add salt to taste, mix well. Allow to cool down, then powder in a blender



You can make Curry-Coriander leaves rice like this....



You can also make sevai!
