SLOPPY JOE is a sandwich kind, vegetables, beans and some sauces and spices served between burger buns....this again is my d-i-l's recipe, and as usual, she has made it healthier by adding some kale to it, and also she has used whole wheat burger buns.
Please check my Kale-butternut squash quinoa Soup and learn about the greatness of Kale
Sloppy Joes can be compared to the Mumbai street food Pav bhaji

Kale - 4 cups, well washed and chopped
Spring onions - a few to garnish
Chilli powder - 2 tsps
Garlic powder - 2 tsps
Onion powder - 2 tsps
Molasses - 2 tbsps (or, add brown sugar)
Mustard paste - 2 tsps

Notes
* If Kale is not available, you can use spinach also for this.

  1. As the name suggests it s not sloppy ,it is perfect!! I have,t heard this kind of burger existed also. But the above is worth the mention of a novel, new videshi pau bhajji which is loaded with so much goodness! I would certainly enjoy, if somebody makes it for me!! Too lazy to make myself!! Eh?
