Both the greens which are known for their medicinal properties and health benefits go into this dip, and their flavor stays  subdued by the probiotic yogurt, which is a natural coolant.
This is a perfect companion for paneer tikkas, raw banana - paneer kababs and Vegetable Cutlets


Ingredients
Curds / yogurt - 2 cups
Coriander leaves/cilantro - 1 1/2 cups
Mint leaves - 3/4 cup
Green chillies - 4
Ginger - a small piece
Garlic - 1 pod
Onions - 2 tbsps, cut
Jeera / cumin seeds - 1 1/2 tsps
Salt to taste

Prep time: 10 mts; Cooking time: nil

Yields about 4 cups of dip

All the ingredients except yogurt are put inside a blender


and blended to a smooth paste


Yogurt is also added to that and blended


Here is the soothing green, cool dip. Refrigerate until serving time

*1/2 tsp of chaat masala powder  is optional.
