This is an ideal dessert, lot of fruits can be used, it is perfect for summer, compared to ice creams, it is lot healthier, and can be made in a jiffy. Only chilling time is couple of hours, otherwise, it is very easy to make.

Ingredients
Boiled milk - 4 cups
Custard powder - 6-8 tsps
Saffron - a pinch
Cardamom powder - 1/4 tsp
Mango- 1, chopped
Apple - 1, chopped
Sapota - 1, chopped
Pomegranate - 1/2 cup, to garnish
Condensed milk - 2 tbsps
Sugar - 4 tbsps
Honey - 2 tbsps

Recipe Cuisine: Indian; Category: Lunch/Dinner/Dessert
Prep time: 10 mts; Cooking time: 10-15 mts;

Serves 4-5

6 tsps custard powder taken in a small cup. Actually it depends on how thick you want your custard to be. We all like it a bit thin and watery. If you want it to be thick, use 2 more tsps of custard powder.

Mix it without lumps, adding 2 tbsps of boiled and cooled milk

Milk set to boil with saffron and cardamom powder

Sugar has been added, milk boiled for 10 minutes, flames on the lowest

Condensed milk being added

Now, goes in the diluted custard powder, mix it well, stir for 5 minutes and switch off. Allow it to cool down, by placing this bowl inside a bowl of water, so that it will cool down soon.

All fruits chopped, honey added, now refrigerate this fruit mixture , till the custard cools down.

Fruits added to the cooled custard, pomegranate garnished.

Serve in small bowls, you can add some pomegranate arils now too.
